This Aron Kodesh is designed based upon the descriptions of the Mishkan in the Torah. Details portay the 12 Tribes in handmade inlayed glass and hand carving. The Torah Ark is built completely of solid African Walnut with dovetail joinery and 2 coats of durable laquer to be appreciated for generations to come. The strong, heavy dovetail joinery support the main cabinet, which can then be easily hung onto the notched columns that extend to the top of the cabinet, making the top cabinet easily portable. The columns too can be easily detached from the base with screw driver and transported as well. The Aron Kodesh holds 2-4 Torahs. Borosilicate glass handles were made specifically to suit the Aron Kodesh, mounted with strong mortise invisible brass Soss Hinges, and close with inlayed magnets for smooth and seemless feel that will last.
