Hot glass blown carefully into sculpted wood moulds that have been soaking for hours or days in water. Fire and smoke engulf the artist as he continues to blow steadily into the mould below. The glass is then opened on the other side, while the shape achieved in the mould remains. The glass is then carefully annealed in the kiln. Both the process and the final product represent the interaction of positive and negative shapes that can only be obtained with the relationship between wood and glass. Much of the work is custom made and allows the client to contribute to the design process.
