Borosilicate Glass Menorah

Each Hannukiah is hand crafted on the torch, by artist Gabriel Bass, into a single borocilicate glass form with African Walnut or Olive wood base. Borosilicate, better known as Pyrex, is one of the most durable glasses in the world, both for its strength and resistance to heat. It takes a lot of practice and technical skill to be able to create such a large well crafted Menorah from this material on a torch. Each piece is annealed in the kiln more than once for extra resistance to heat. Dimensions: approximately 26cm in width and 20cm high.
