Each Hannukah Menorah is one of a kind, made by hand in the highest quality solid wood and glass by artist Gabriel Bass at the Custom Carving Studios in Israel. Careful attention is made to detail and longevity of each piece to ensure that each piece will last to be appreciated into the next generation. Most bases are handcarved in various woods, such as local Israeli Olive Wood (up to 1000 year old), Cypress, or African Walnut. Menorahs often include handmade glass inlays. The settings on top are created using a unique technique of working Borosilicate glass on threaded poles, allowing them to be easily removed from the threaded nut inserts inlayed into the menorah base. The glass in blown in the studio into original wood and graphite moulds to create an elegant shape suitable for both oil or standard Hannukah candles.
