This Solid Wood Afrcian Walnut portable Bimah was designed in the style of the contemporary furniture movement. The legs of the torah table are handshaped and solid wood top is tilted forward showing off the exquisite carving work across the back. Carving represents the tree of life with the backround recessed with the curved blade knife, leaving a beautiful texture. Engraving across top reads in Hebrew "Eitz Chaim He....", it is a tree of life for all those that hold fast to it. The box is constructed with through dovetail joints. The solid brass Brusso hinges are carefully inlayed. The work can be easily disassembled for transport with a simple screwdriver and will stand strong for generations. Can be mounted with sturdy mohangy/metal wheels with brakes and top mounted onto hinges for easy wheeling through standard door.
